This is the hottest game of clue I’ve ever seen.

Another A24 film to add to the roster of films that I will be annoying and not shut up about, but within the right. If you love a good “who done it” horror thriller you will enjoy Bodies Bodies Bodies.
The film, written by Sarah DeLappe and Kristen Roupenian and directed by Halina Reijn, is not a new concept for a film but definitely feels fresh in its presentation of the movie. Something also worth mentioning is how funny the movie is.
Many people are referencing the fact that the movie is a retelling of the game Among Us, which as a board game “stan” I cry at the forgotten art that is Clue, but I digress. The movie carries us along this wild ride of trying to figure out who is the killer and what are their intentions. I had one guess, who I of course will not tell, but even jumped back and forth as the story unfolded.
The cast’s chemistry is something I would say is the best part of the film. I find it extremely hard to root for any of the characters as they are all quite terrible in their own ways, but never did I want to look away. I would compare it to “rubbernecking” a car accident with a car that’s on fire, in the best way possible.

The chaos of the film is something that’s been stuck in my mind from my initial watching. To the point where I would not shut up and made my friend go watch the film with me again the following weekend.
The twist at the end was also something that to me, finished the movie with a sweet and perfect cherry on the top way. Please go watch this movie while you can.
